image for Thames Valley Brodcaster Webbed Up In Litvinenko Case
Don't touch that dial...it's radioactive!

Berkshire commercial radio station 210 FM is desperate to disassociate itself from the Polonium 210 Litvinenko affair.

The head of programming has told the Spoof:

"We spent years building this station up and now it's all turning to shit before our eyes. We've got people phoning us up every two minutes asking if they can catch radiation by listening to us. For fuck's sake! I ask you?"

The Spoof has learned that the station's lifeblood is being cut off as advertising revenue is plummeting. The Raj Tandoori Take Away, London Road, has pulled its lucrative partnership with the broadcaster.

Ex station 'Jocks' Steve Wright and Mike Read issued this joint statement:

"Thank Christ we got out when we did or our careers would be going down the tubes now"

Hang about though. Didn't Mike Read's go down the tubes years ago anyway?

Make Duff's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
