The new Sci-Fi flick 'Dawn Of The Planet Of Illegal Immigrants' is taking the box office by storm! The latest sequel in the series that started with 'Planet Of The Illegal Immigrants' then continued with 'Beyond The Planet Of The Illegal Immigrants', 'Escape From Planet Of The Apes', 'Planet Of The Illegal Immigrants Does Dallas' and so forth. And the series shows no signs of slowing down.
Andy Serkis has again been called in to play the lead role of Caesar, the leader of the grassroots league of illegals from many different countries which are screwed up so that they run to their huge, wealthy neighbor and screw that up too.
Binding together the divergent cultures under his scrutiny, Caesar unites them in a common goal to infiltrate the planet (as seen in the previous films), establish bases where their culture dominates and prospers, then slowly take over everything from the original culture.
In the first episode, they successfully replace the original language with theirs. Now, in this latest version, they seek to isolate the few original inhabitants left. The original people of the planet, weakened by excessive use of drugs and alcohol, are no longer in control of their culture. Much of the abusive substances are provided by the Illegals in an effort to undermine the originals which has devastated their society. This coupled with the increasing decadence and lethargy of each succeeding generation of the originals leaves them unable to cope with a new virus that ravaged their race. (Rumor has it that this new strain was developed by the Illegals and injected into the drugs intended for the originals with the hope of wiping them out.) The originals start dying out from the drugs, the virus and their inability to even take care of themselves anymore, and the Illegals slowly take power.
The remaining original inhabitants are, by the end of the movie huddled in walled off ghettos, starving and afraid of the newcomers who have taken over their land.
Their fate will be revealed in the next installment of the film franchise.
