He's a nervous wreck these days, as he thinks unemployment could be looming.
Sr. Cristina may want to be Pope, he's told friends, adding, "And she' a triple threat. She sings, she dances, she prays. And one more thing. She's Italian, which is always a plus for Papal hopefuls."
The Pope admits, though, that he DID like the songs she chose. He only hopes that when she sang "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" she really meant it.
As for Sister's rendition of "Livin' On A Prayer," the Pope feels it was meant for him. "It perfectly describes my situation these days," the Pope said with a weak laugh. "Livin' On A Prayer that I can keep my job."
The rumor is that, just for extra insurance, the Pope has signed up for singing and dancing lessons. He's also hired a rap artist as a consultant.
"In this job market, ya gotta keep your options open," said the Holy Father, adding, "God helps those who help themselves."
