BEVERLY HILLS - Paris Hilton was sitting in The Haven of Hair Saloon on Rodeo Drive when talk got around to politics.
Hilton told her hair stylist FuFi Fondue that she really didn't know a whole lot about politics except for the fact that the Republicans use the donkey and the Democrats use the elephant as their party symbols.
Fondue told her that she had it backwards. She got a puzzled look on her face and said that she had recently seen a story about the subject on FOX News.
Paris was asked if she would ever consider running for any kind of political office.
She giggled and said that she has really been giving some thought to the idea of running for mayor of Los Angeles.
Fondue asked her what she thought about Sarah "Snowflake" Palin. Paris said that at first she hated her but now she actually likes her because compared to her she (Paris) is a Rhodes scholar.
Hilton said that Palin knows about as much about geography as a monkey knows about flying a 747 jet.
The blonde known as the Tinsel Town celebutante added that Palin has made some big time geographical gaffes like when she said that Rhode Island was located just south of the Hawaiian Islands.
Palin also once said that the Panama Canal was located between Panama and Portugal.
