image for American Idol Sends Majesty Rose Back To North Carolina
Caleb Johnson prefers to use a microphone that was given to him by Adam Lambert.

HOLLYWOOD - Well finally two of the remaining 9 American Idol contestants stepped it up and showed that they are the ones to be reckoned with.

Caleb Johnson the resident rock and roller from North Carolina got the audience on their feet with a fabulous rendition of Led Zeppelin's "Dazed and Confused."

American Idol host Ryan "Peaches" Seacrest said that he had received a text message from Led Zeppelin's lead singer Robert Plant.

Plant texted, "Hey Caleb, spiffy job there mate. You bloody bloomin' blew me away with your rendition."

Even Ozzy Osbourne called in to Seacrest and Ryan said the Prince of Darkness told him, "Ahhhhh Ryyyyan ttttttell Callllleb dat Ozzzzzzy saaaaid daaaaat he ddddddone wwwwwwell."

Female singer Jena Irene who pronounces her name GEE-NA even though 99.2 percent of the people pronounce it like it looks JEN-NA brought the crowd to its feet with her redition of "Bring Me To Life" by Evanescence.

The rest of the Idol contestants could have pretty much phoned it in as judge Harry Connick, Jr. remarked to Jennifer Lopez during one of the commercials.

During the show Harry bit into what has got to be the biggest gummy bear in North America. Harry bit off its left ear and J.Lo bit off its belly button.

Keith Urban said that he did not want to get Harry's or J.Lo's germs.

SIDENOTE: Two weeks ago Woody The Wonder Woodchuck correctedly predicted that Tennessee's Ben Briley would be leaving and he did. Last week Woody predicted that M.K. Nobilette of San Francisco would be sent home and she was. And this week Woody The Wonder Woodchuck is 3-0 as he correctly predicted that Majesty Rose would be heading on back to North Carolina.
