HOLLYWOOD, CALIFORNIA - Frustrated by the dropping ratings for reality shows that feature bizarre, illegal, or extreme behavior, one American Network has decided to do a "180" and focus on Normal People Leading Normal Lives, which is also the name of the series.
Said ABC spokesman, Sandra Finkleman, "It took a lot of investigative work to be able to locate a normal family leading normal lives, but we finally found several in Missouri. We flew out there and interviewed the families before finally settling on a family of five; a mom and a dad who are still married to each other after 18 years, who have two sons and a daughter, who are not drug or alcohol addicted and have no police records."
The family, who will remain anonymous until the first show of the brand new series, are hoping to take a family vacation to the Iowa State Fair with the money they earn participating in the show.
"We are sort of hoping for a 'Duck Dynasty' kind of reaction from the American Public," concluded Finkleman. "Normal might become the new 'abnormal' since everybody has sort of forgotten what normal looks like."
