LOS ANGELES - Rihanna, the Caribbean beauty who has had her ups and down in relationships was presented with the first ever AMA Icon Award.
She was introduced by Bill Maher, a well known non-believer, who told Ri-Ri that he does believe that she deserves the award.
The Barbadian singer was accompanied on stage by her mom who told how little Rihanna sang her first song at the young age of just 2 months.
She said it was a Beatles song titled, "Eleanor Rigby" which is kind of an odd song for a 2-month-old baby to be singing.
The second song that Rihanna learned was "Jumpin' Jack Flash" by the Rolling Stones which was an upbeat song and not the sullen song that "Eleanor Rigby" was.
Rihanna told of how growing up she had to eat crickets in order to get the minimum daily requirement of fiber.
Marc Anthony, J.Lo's ex-husband remarked backstage to Luke Bryan that now if Rihanna can find a way to get back her self-pride, self-esteem, and self-worth that the low-life, bottom feeder Chris Brown took from her, perhaps she can get her act back together and be a happy good looking, sexy sista once again.
