SAN ANTONIO - Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder purchased the 3,000 acre Blue Tattoo Ranch located outside of San Antonio in the summer of 2012.
And now that the couple has ended their relationship they have decided to sell the sprawling ranch complete with a 4,000 square foot Southern style mansion.
The ranch was originally owned by country music legend George Strait. He ended up selling it to San Antonio Spurs guard Manu Ginobili.
Ginobili eventually sold The Blue Tattoo to Sandra Bullock's ex-husband Jesse James.
James put the ranch on the market after he dumped his fiancée Kat Von D.
Two of the stars of The Vampire Diaries, Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder, found out about it and decided to travel to San Antonio and take a look at the ranch.
Nina immediately fell in love with the beautiful spread which has its own private landing strip.
The couple purchased the ranch from Jesse James for $21.9 million.
And now that Dobrev and Somerhalder have ended their relationship they decided to sell The Blue Tattoo.
Nina called up her good friend Taylor Swift and told her that (they) were putting their Texas ranch on the market.
Taylor inquired as to the asking price and was told that it was listed at $23.7 million.
After placing a phone call to her business manager the arrangements were made and 23-year-old Taylor Swift is now the proud owner of the 3,000 acre Blue Tattoo Ranch.
SIDENOTE: Taylor told Yippee-Ki-Yay Magazine that she plans on turning one of the three ranch barns into a recording studio.
