In a recent interview with Star$ Magazine, Miley Cyrus talked about what it was like growing up in the South.
"Dad was always playing his guitar and gone for weeks playing barn dance-type shows and looking for a breakthrough. I had an Aunt and some cousins that would come stay with us to keep me company during the summer."
This apparently was before and between filming episodes of Hannah Montana.
"So the cousins and I were out on this hill and it had a lot of sage grass that we used to slide on, once you got a good run."
She then laughed for awhile.
"I can laugh about it now but it wasn't funny then. You see, we were starting for the ranch because it had started to rain and someone yelled, 'Let's slide under the electric fence!' and we did."
"Or I guess, they did. I happened to stumble taking the run and as I slid I wound up sitting up and the electric fence was right between my teeth!"
Asked if she was hurt she replied: "I saw stars because of the braces I guess but it was the laughter that upset me."
"When I got to the ranch bathroom, my mouth looked a mile wide and I looked just like the Joker."
