NASHVILLE - Hip hop rap artist Kanye West was in The Home of Country Music to record a country music album with none other than Taylor Swift.
Kanye, who rumor has it only smiles once every four or five weeks, spoke with Buck Yazoo of Yippie-Ki-Yay Magazine about the rather unusual duet pairing.
West remarked that he was hesitant at first but after his wife Kim Kardashian talked to Taylor he decided to go for it.
He said that he truly feels that country music fans have finally forgiven him for the way he disrespected Taylor at the 2009 MTV Music Video Awards Show when he ran up on stage and snatched the microphone away from the then 19-year-old Taylor Swift.
West thought about it for a while and then added, "Well maybe everyone except for Toby Keith, Reba McEntire, Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert, Gretchen Wilson, and about three dozen other top country music artists."
Taylor did end up writing a song about the incident in which she referred to Kanye as West the Pest.
Even President Obama remarked that Kanye was wrong for acting like some inbred, arrogantly sarcastic bully.
The president also used the "N" word but in this instance it was the word nincompoop.
Yazoo contacted Taylor and asked her about recording an album with a person who is a notorious troublemaker.
She smiled and said that she is not bothered one bit because one of her BFF's Toby Keith has graciously offered to play guitar on the recordings.
SIDENOTE: Toby Keith was contacted and the 6-foot-8-inch tall country giant said that he guarantees that Mr. West will act like nothing but a proper gentleman.
