image for American Idol's Mariah Carey Blames Nicki Minaj For The Lip Syncing Rumor
Mariah is the highest paid music judge in the history of televison raking in $18 million for one season.

HOLLYWOOD - It is no secret that there is no love lost between American Idol female judges Mariah "The Diva" Carey and Nicki "The Circus Clown" Minaj.

But Carey is fuming at the charges by some American Idol viewers who have tweeted that she was lip syncing during her finale medley performance.

According to inside sources the rumor is believed to have been started by Nicki Minaj. It appears that she commented to a reporter with the supermarket tabloid Just Saying that Mariah could clearly be seen lip syncing.

When asked what made her so sure Minaj replied in her high-shrilled Fran Drescher voice that when Carey sang the song "Vision of Love" one could see that her lips did not move when she sang the words Mmm mmm mmm.

Nicki said that she has seen the video played back half a dozen times and Mariah's lips did not move at all.

When word got back to Mariah about Minaj's comments she exploded saying that Nicki has no business being on the same stage with her and Keith Urban.

Carey said that Nicki is upset because the American Idol producers did not ask her to sing during the finale.

SIDENOTE: Keith Urban was asked what he thought about Nicki's remark. The Australian country singer answered that there is no way that Nicki could have seen Mariah's lips due to the tons of mascara that she has on her ridiculously long fake eyelashes.

Make Abel Rodriguez's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)
