LOS ANGELES - Nicki Minaj has been kinder to American Idol contestant Lazaro Arbos than any of the other three AI judges.
The Queen of Hip Hop has offered her words of wisdom on American Idol to Calcutta Cotton a reporter with Music Moments Magazine.
Minaj said that out of the final six contestants Lazaro, who is by no means the best singer, is the last remaining male.
She noted that for one thing, the young man from Florida will now be taking all of the votes that were meant for eliminated male singers Curtis Finch, Jr, Paul Jolley, Devin Velez, and Burnell Taylor.
The woman known as Circus Barbie told Miss Cotton that, that is an awful lot of votes.
She remarked that there are several other matters that will help catapult Arbos to the top. For one thing, viewers of American Idol do not like to see judges degrade, demean, insult, and attack young contestants the way that Randy "The Dawg" Jackson has done so unmercifully.
Minaj, the singer with the in-your-face attitude remarked that two weeks ago the hateful Jackson suggested that Lazaro look into possibly becoming a dancer.
And this past week he told Lazaro, who has a stuttering problem, that maybe he should learn some jokes and become a stand up comedian.
Also Jimmy Iovine [Pronounced: I-VEEN], who does critiquing on the show, has horribly hammered Lazaro and every single week has uttered the same old worn out phrase, "Lazaro is going home this week."
And again every time he recites that line, Arbos gets another 300,000 votes and this past week amazingly was ranked in the Top 3.
The highly reputable Amalgamated Agency of Data Gathering which is based in Chicago has stated that Lazaro is receiving 93 percent of the American Idol votes being cast in Mexico, Cuba, Central America, South America, Florida, and East L.A.
Nicki the Yicky, as GOP pundit Ann Coulter calls her, says that another thing that is helping Arbos is the fact that fellow contestant Candice Glover, 23, has shown by her facial expressions that she does not like the male singer from Naples, Florida.
SIDENOTE: American Idol producer Nigel Lythgoe is very concerned about the situation. He has instructed the judges to back off from the harsh criticism of Lazaro. He has also made it clear to Miss Glover that she had better stop making faces when Arbos is performing. And he has told Jimmy Iovine that he better shut up with his childish Lazaro is going home this week routine.
