image for Candice Glover and Janelle Arthur Both Hit It Out of The Park on American Idol
The American Idol singers sang songs that were written by John Lennon and Paul McCartney of the Beatles.

HOLLYWOOD - The latest edition of American Idol featured the contestants singing songs from the Beatles Songbook.

AI host Ryan "Peaches" Seacrest appeared a little sad due to the fact that he and his girlfriend of two years Julianne Hough had just broken up.

Ryan told the audience that he still loves Julianne and she still loves him but he kind of lost it when she told him that someone had stolen $100,000 worth of jewelry from her car, which she had left unlocked.

Seacrest had reportedly purchased the jewelry on a recent trip to Paris, France.

Julianne's brother, Derek Hough, of Dancing With The Stars fame, said that he thinks that Peaches and Tinker Bell will get back together in about two weeks or so.

Calcutta Cotton with Music Moments Magazine said that the night's two best singers were Candice "The Singer" Glover and Janelle "Cowgirl" Arthur.

Cotton predicts that both girls should end up in the final Top 3.

Nicki Minaj showed up on time this week, but the live wire acted as if she had eaten four or five Nestle's Crunch Bars before the show.

She was giggling, and making faces, and at one point she got up and sat on Randy "The Dawg" Jackson's lap and said, "Hey Santa, I've been a good girl, whatcha gonna give me."

Mariah could not take it and she told Minaj to stop acting like a circus groupie.

Keith Urban said "Good one Mariah" and he got up and gave Mrs. Nick Cannon a high five and a fist bump. He started to give her a chest bump but he remembered that she's pregnant.

Ryan hollered out for everyone to settle down and remember that it is about the contestants and not about them.

Nicki yelled out a bunch of expletives that were bleeped out by the shows censor.

SIDENOTE: Woody The Wonder Woodchuck predicts that Amber Holcomb, Burnell Taylor, Kree Harrison, Angie Miller and Glover and Arthur will all be safe. He is predicting that Paul Jolley will be going home.
