NEW YORK CITY - One of the nation's most well known GOP mouthpieces Ann Coulter recently confided to Piers Morgan that she has a crush on Los Angeles Lakers super star Kobe Bryant.

Coulter, 51, said that she usually does not have crushes on men but in Kobe's case she cannot help it.

She pointed out that she likes the way that he takes charge of the Lakers team and yells, hollers, screams, and shouts at them as if he were the coach.

Ann, who is called Trigger Face by most Democrats and some Republicans, noted that the extent of her basketball knowledge would easily fit into a circus midgets hand, but nonetheless she does enjoy watching the Lakers play on TV when she isn't angrily arguing with someone on some television political talk show.

Coulter revealed that her main goal has always been to get her very own talk show on the FOX Network, and now her secondary goal is to attend a Lakers game and watch her favorite sports star Kobe Bean Bryant in action.

SIDENOTE: Kobe was having dinner at an IHIPHOP Soul Food Restaurant in La Brea when he was told about Ann Coulter having a crush on him. He immediately made a face and pushed away his plate of collared greens and ham hocks. He paid his bill and left in a huff.
