Network spokesperson Crestwood "Peacock" Mangosteen broke the news regarding Leno's departure.

LOS ANGELES - The word has slipped out and there is lots of rejoicing in Talk Show Host Land.

TV ClickerWorld is reporting that NBC does not plan to renew Jay Leno's contract once it expires in September of 2014.

An NBC spokesperson, Crestwood "Peacock" Mangosteen, 53, stated that the powers that be have just gotten fed up with having to field so many questions from so many critics about Leno's holier-than-thou attitude when it comes to Late Night Land.

It is no secret that David Letterman, Conan O'Brien, Jimmy Kimmel, Jon Stewart, Carson Daly, and even that boring broad Chelsea Handler don't like Jay and his smug attitude.

Mangosteen, who was granted a divorce in January of this year, remarked that things at Talk Show World have gone down ever since the departure of the undisputed king of talk shows, Johnny Carson.

Leno felt that he was the only person who could replace Johnny, but he had as much success as an amusement park carousel horse replacing the great thoroughbred racehorse Secretariat.

SIDENOTE: Sangria Wine with TV ClickerWorld has said that several names are being bounced around as possible replacements for Jay "Mr. Potato Head" Leno. Three names at the top of the list are Jimmy "Shy Guy" Fallon, Ryan "Peaches" Seacrest, and Ann "Trigger Face" Coulter.

Make Abel Rodriguez's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)
