LOS ANGELES - The 39th Annual Peoples Choice Awards Show was held at The Nokia Theater and it went on as planned even though sources said some executives wanted the show postponed due to the strike by The Seat Fillers Union of California.

Seat fillers are individuals who sit in a celebrity's seat when he or she gets up to go to the bathroom, so that the seat is not seen as being empty when the television camera pans the crowd.

According to iRumors the Seat Fillers Union wants the Peoples Choice Award Association to provide them with better clothes, shoes, socks, and underwear.

One seat filler, identified as Inger Prunella Leafcutter, 43, who has been filling seats for over 17 years, said that she hates the fact that female seat fillers are having to wear bras and panties that were purchased at The Lollygag Department Stores and at The Dilly Dally Retail Stores instead of at the much nicer Victoria's Secret stores.

The winner in The Favorite Daytime TV Host category was Ellen DeGeneres who said in her acceptance speech that she dedicated the award to her ravishingly sexy wife Portia De Rossi-DeGeneres, without whom she would probably still be trolling some lesbianite haunt in West Hollywood looking for love in all the wrong places as Johnny Lee sang many, many years ago.

X-Factor won the award for Best Competition Show beating out American Idol, America's Got Talent, Dancing With The Stars, and The Voice.

The extremely buxom Khloe Kardashian, (5-foot-10-inches, 171 pounds) co-host of the X-Factor accepted the award on behalf of everyone associated with the show.

She went on to note that her goal for 2013, is to continue to have the Kardashian family saturate the television market and rake in even more millions than they did in 2012.

And the Favorite Celebrity Judge award went to Demi Lovato of X-Factor. Lovato could hardly talk as she was crying tears of joy ala Paula Abdul, Nicole Scherzinger, John Boehner, and Brett Favre.

She told the viewing audience that she promises to try and lose a little bit of weight, to try and find a certain hair color and style and stick with it, and to try and cut back on her crying on next season's show.

Demi also noted that she is thrilled beyond belief that people have finally stopped confusing her with that other Demi - Demi Moore.

As the band started playing the End Your Speech Now music, which this year was "My Sharona," she remarked that she still feels that 13-year-old Carly Rose Sonenclar should have won this year's X-Factor instead of Tate "Cowboy" Stevens.

SIDENOTE: Taylor Swift won the award for Favorite Country Artist. She pranced up to the stage and said in a very happy tone that she wanted to thank everyone for helping her to win this award. She then paused, took out a piece of paper, and added, "Except for Patrick Schwarzenegger, Conor Kennedy, and Harry Styles."
