The pop, entertainment world is flabbergasted because after a 10 year break ageing superstar, David Bowie, has released a brand new single to celebrate his 66th birthday and he was worried that the world had forgot him and he had forgot the world.
David, in his early years made such ground-breaking classics such as Major Tom, Ziggy Stardust, Hunky Dory, etc. He also helped Lou Reed, Iggy Pop and other underground artists break through into the mainstream pop world; in other words he was a true artist.
Sadly, the modern world has caught up with Bowie and when a reporter from fab magazine, Rolling Stone, asked Justin Bieber what he thought of David's latest effort he answered, "who the hell is Bowie!"
Also, David being slightly demented, failed to top the Christmas charts in the UK with his fab single, a re-release of Clive Dunn's "Grandad" because he forgot to release it in time.
David, dressed in glam-rock high-heeled boots and silk trousers, was last seen wondering through Berlin humming one of his greatest hits, "Young Americans", hoping he would be there in time to see the wall fall down.
All royalties from the single are being donated to Dad's Army survivors because he feels like one of them!
