HOLLYWOOD - Only two people, Simon Cowell and Demi Lovato, knew that X-Factor judge Britney Spears was going to be ending her engagement to Jason Trawick.

Spears said that she did not tell fellow judge L.A. Reid simply because she does not trust him.

The 30-year-old singer explained that back in August, she confided to Reid that on occasion she still lip syncs when performing on stage.

She became quite upset when the very next day she read in the supermarket tabloid Say What? that Reid had mentioned that Spears had told him that even though she said she doesn't lip sync anymore, she still does.

When she confronted the Randy "The Dawg" Jackson lookalike about it, all he would say was that the tabloid had paid him $4,000 and he needed the money to put down as a down payment on his brand new 50-foot yacht which he named The X-Factor Queen.

Britney, who is paid $15 million a year to appear on X-Factor, confessed to Kiowa Kettle with Tittle Tattle Tonight that the reason she broke off her engagement to Jason Trawick is because she has a strong crush on Simon.

The "Oops!...I Did It Again" girl has already stopped wearing her 4.3 carat engagement ring that Trawick bought her with her money.

Simon has admitted that he does have a bit of a fondness for the former blonde lip syncer even though he is dating Carmen Electra. He was asked by Miss Kettle what he thinks about Ms. Spears breaking off her engagement.

He took a few puffs from his ever present Marlboro, a sip of his Tequila Sunrise, winked, and gave Miss Kettle a thumbs up sign.

In Television News. Mrs. Paul Ryan (Janna), who is extremely shy, told Barbara Walters on The View that her favorite reality show is The Real Housewives of Intercourse, Pennsylvania.

Make Abel Rodriguez's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)
