North Korean leader Kim Jung-un is to release a Christmas single in an attempt to boost his standing overseas. He will be targeting the British Christmas Number one slot with hopes of being picked up by the anti X Factor campaign.
Kim has been inspired by the success in Britain of the South Korean rapper Psy who reached the top of the charts this week with his song 'Gangnam Style'. Psy has become something of a hit due to a viral video of the pony dance which he uses to accompany 'Gangnam Style' with many people including celebrities like Olympic diver Tom Daly and Katy Perry posting videos of themselves performing the move.
Calling himself SRK short for Supreme Leader Kim the North Korean Leader has developed his own dance the un-hop. Which is a dignified bounce with a head nod. His single goes by the name 'Do as I say or you die' and will be produced by veteran music personality Quincy Jones.
Jones became involved when a flight he was traveling on from Hong Kong to Seoul was mysteriously diverted to Pyongyang. An official statement on the incident said that when the record becomes a hit the people on the plane will be allowed to return to Hong Kong.
"He hasn't got a chance." Simon Cowell commented. "We have cute puppies and cats lined up for the Christmas video and the winner will be murdering another 80's classic. Kim Jung-un might as well forget the Christmas number one."
