WASHINGTON DC (ABSNN) - Aging (badly) pop singer Madonna endorsed President Barack Obama for a second term in the Whitehouse during a concert on Monday. She said "it was cool (having) a Black Muslim as President."
She said that "there is hope for the nation," or something similar, some earth-shattering revelation (or not), depending upon which news outlet you read.
In yesterday's televised speech before the General Assembly of the United Nations, Obama made it clear that he, "like many other Americans is a Christian."
Instead of admitting she was wrong, Madonna claimed she "was being ironic."
Fully 97% of all reporters polled after Madonna's claim of irony found it ironic Madonna even knew the word "ironic." Or could use it properly in a sentence.
Meanwhile, the President, who enjoys a widening lead (7-11 %) in every pre-debate poll, said he'd "be happy to lend Madonna to Mitt Romney since he enjoys irony more than anyone else I know."
Romney is said to be "mulling over the President's offer."
