image for LeAnn Rimes To Host A Cooking Show
LeAnn says she'll cook country dishes like Squirrel Pot Pies (shown) and Whiskey Smothered Cornbread.

LOS ANGELES - Country singer LeAnn Rimes has just said that her dream has finally come through.

The extremely skinny singer who has had such hits as "How Do I Live," "Blue," and Blue Moo Moo" has just been signed by the Nourishment Network to host her own cooking show.

Rimes told TV ClickerWorld's Sangria Wine that she hasn't been this happy since she stole her present husband, Eddie Cibrian from his wife Brandi Glanville.

LeAnn, who reportedly weighs 63 pounds, says she can hardly wait to get into the studio's kitchen and start cooking on her new show titled Parsley, Sage, LeAnn, & Thyme: Making Fantastic Weight Losing Meals For Just Under $2.

Rimes says that the timing of her new show could not be more perfect as in recent weeks she has been approached about losing weight by such well-known celebrities as Jessica Simpson, Kirstie Alley, and Christina Aguilera.

She giggled and said that if Jess, Kirstie, and Chrissy watch her show that she promises them that within four short weeks they will all lose anywhere from 27 to 32 pounds.

Rimes said that the beauty of her cooking is that unlike lots of other cooking shows her meals not only look beautiful but they taste fantastic as well.

When asked what about her cooking show will be different from the other dozens and dozens of cable cooking shows the blonde pixie replied, "Well for one thing, on my show, I will not only be cooking, but I will be singing and doing a little dancing as I cook."

She pointed out that singing while one cooks for some scientific reason helps to dissipate the calories and carbohydrates as they are being processed in the cooking procedure.

Rimes explained that for example, a meal laden with potatoes, fried okra, and smothered in cream gravy will only have about 3 calories as opposed to 3,000 which is the norm for that type of combination on other televised cooking shows.

SIDENOTE: LeAnn says that her one hour show will be aired five times a week 2 p.m. (Eastern), 1 p.m. (Central). She smiled and said that on Wednesdays she will have a special, overweight celebrity guest such as Carnie Wilson, Kevin James, Wynonna Judd, and Charles Barkley.
