NEW YORK CITY - Katie Holmes has made no bones about the fact that she has always hated her daughter Suri's first name.

Holmes recently spoke with Tafetta Kixx of iRumors and informed her that she is planning on legally changing her daughter's name very soon.

When asked why, Holmes replied that there are several very personal reasons but added that one reason is because she found out that the name Suri in Lower Zamgolan means "Old geezer who kisses ugly rhinos on the lips."

Katie also said that her daughter is tired of people confusing her with iPhone's Siri. Holmes noted that it has gotten to the point where she feels if she does not change Suri's name as soon as possible that she could end up being traumatized and require therapy.

When Katie was asked what her ex-husband Tom (Cruise) thinks about it she said that he just told her to be sure and change her name to something that the entertainment media will be able to pronounce and spell correctly.

Katie was asked why she decided on the name Samantha. She smiled and replied that she chose that name in honor of Samantha Ronson, Lindsay Lohan's on-gain, off-again girlfriend, who Suri greatly admires.
