MANHATTAN - Lady Gaga says that she has been keeping pretty much of a low profile recently and it has helped her to re-evaluate the direction of her career.
The singer told Ty Tickler with Hollywood Innuendo that she wants to be more than just a songstress who is noted more for the crazy, outlandish bird outfits and food costumes she wears than for the quality of the songs she sings.
She remarked that she hates being referred to as the modern day Carmen Miranda and wants people to stop calling her names like "Salad Lady," "Clown Creep," and "Buffet Betty."
Tickler asked about the rumor that there is a new young man in her life. Gaga, 26, grinned as she polished her toenails and revealed that she has indeed met a younger man and that she will only say that he is a casino chip salesman who works in Las Vegas.
The singer added that the two met when she recently visited The Grand Coulee Dam in Washington state. She confessed that she was so infatuated with him that she actually asked him for his cell phone number.
The "Born This Way" artist said that he was shocked and mentioned to her that he was only 21. She smiled and told him that if he was old enough to vote in a presidential election then he was old enough to participate with her in a bit of mattress merriment.
Hollywood Innuendo will stay with the story and report any happenings between Lady Gaga and her new mystery boy-toy as they happen.
