Cheryl Cole is excited about appearing on the hit dramedy "Glee." (Photo courtesy of Derek Hough).

LOS ANGELES - The producers of the hit musical dramedy Glee have just announced that they will be adding a new character to the hit show.

Tahiti Zeppelin with Hollywood Hors D'oeuvres confirms that the British singer has expressed a strong desire to become part of the G-cast.

Cole, who last year was involved in a relationship with Derek "The Dancing Dude" Hough of Dancing With The Stars, says that she wants to redeem herself for having been fired by Simon Cowell in her role of X-Factor judge last year.

"Chezza" as Queen Elizabeth nicknamed her, pointed out that she would be totally perfect for the show since she can sing, dance, act, and she knows dozens of Sarah Palin jokes.

When asked if she still harbors any ill will towards Simon, who is known as "The Royal Dude of Rude," Cole replied that she has a tremendous amount of resentment for the cigarette-smoking, T-shirt-wearing, silly-haired, man-boobed boob.

She then added tongue-in-cheek that she knows Simon's ex-fianceƩ Mezhgan Hussainy very well and that she told her exactly why she broke off her engagement to the reality show mogul.

When pressed to reveal the reason, Cole simply blushed, took a sip of her tea, and a bite from her apricot crumpet and said that she would be revealing the reason at a latter date.

SIDENOTE: Glee has been named as the best dramedy in Samoa, Switzerland, and Singapore.
