HOLLYWOOD - The latest edition of American Idol saw several of the contestants really bring their "A" game.
One of the early on favorites Jessica Sanchez of San Diego did good on the Gloria Estefan song "Don't Cry For Me Tallahassee."
Rock and roller Colton Dixon with the Davy Crockett coonskin cap like hairdo was a big hit with the young girls as he sang Steppenwolf's "Born To Be Wild."
Jennifer Lopez stated that Colton will be receiving most of the 12 to 16-year-old girls votes.
Little bitty Hollie "The Little Dolly" Cavanaugh really wowed the crowd with her rendition of the old Kyu Sakamoto song "Sukiyaki" which she actually sang in Japanese.
And according to Heejun Han who speaks a little Japanese, she was right on the money with her pronunciation, pitch, and synchronized logistical contingency.
Heejun did ad that Hollie did mispronounce the word saki [SA-KEY], which she sang as sackey [SACK-KEY].
But the contestant who really impressed Randy "The Dawg" Jackson, Steven "Lips" Tyler, and J.Lo the most was Louisiana native Joshua "Ebenezer Baptist" Ledets.
Prior to singing he was presented with a tub full of Louisiana Crawfish that had been flown in from the Bayou State courtesy of Ryan "Peaches" Seacrest.
Ledets sang the Percy Sledge song which was later covered by Michael Bolton "When A Man Loves A Woman" and he hit it out of the ballpark and it actually landed about three blocks from the American Idol Building.
J.Lo remarked that Joshua's performance was one of the best that she has ever seen in the history of American Idol.
American Idol producer Simon Shindlebocker had to disqualify the 6-foot-8-inch Jermaine "Teardrops" Jones when it was learned by a reporter for Bedroom Pillow Talk that he had committed two crimes in 2011.
The first crime involved Jones stealing a Shetland pony from a mini-carnival in Upper Pittsgrove, New Jersey and the second offense was for trying to steal an ATM machine from a Captain Cluckity Cluck Clucks Chicken Shack in Paramus, New Jersey.
According to BPT, Jones also has 16 outstanding warrants and he is allegedly a person of interest in the Rush Limbaugh kidnapping attempt.
Woody The Wonder Woodchuck has predicted that 16-year-old, six-foot tall Shannon Magrane, who is the tallest girl to ever appear on American Idol, will be the next contestant to be eliminated.
