Hollywood - American Idol's Top 13 are now The Top Dozen as the three judge eliminated 19-year-old Jeremy Rosado.
Rosado and Elise Testone, 28, of Charleston, South Carolina were the two lowest vote getters. Out of 30 million votes that were cast, Rosado received 873 votes and Testone received 891 votes.
American Idol Host Ryan "Peaches" Seacrest announced that the judges Randy "The Dawg" Jackson, Jennifer "La Tush" Lopez, and Steven "Lips" Tyler would decide which of the bottom two singers would be eliminated.
J.Lo made no bones about the fact that she really and truly liked Jeremy because he reminded her of one of her favorite Brooklyn cousins, Vinnie "Hey Youse" Primavera.
Tyler said that he didn't especially like Testone's voice but added that he kinda liked her bedroom eyes. Jackson pointed out that of the 13 contestants, four were blondes and although he seriously thought about voting to keep Jeremy, he ended up voting for Elise because she winked at him three times during the commercial.
Ryan stated that he was surprised that 16-year-old Shannon Magrane did not get eliminated since neither he nor any of the judges really liked her but apparently she has a big family and lots of friends who voted for her.
Seacrest pointed out that he and Woody The Wonder Woodchuck both picked the six-foot tall swizzle stick to be eliminated so both are now 0-1.
SIDENOTE: Mary J. Blige who mentored the 13 singers appeared on stage and sang the Bob Dylan song "Subterranean Homesick Blues." And last year's American Idol runner up Lauren Alaina sang a country version of Bobby Darin's "Mack The Knife."
