MANHATTAN - Lady Gaga was the featured performer at The Musical Tribute To Cher which was held at The Radio City Music Hall.
The event sponsored by CoverGal's New Revolutionary Eyelash Extenders was attended by several noted celebrities including Eva Longoria, Ryan "Peaches" Seacrest, Kat Von D, Shakira, India's Aishwarya Rai, Brett Favre, and Monica Lewinsky.
The show was MC'd by Kelly Ripa and Kelly Osbourne and included performances from Taylor Swift, Ke$ha, Crosby Stills Nash & Young, and Lady Gaga.
Gaga, as her fans the Monsters call her showed up wearing a lap dancers outfit. When asked by Hollywood Innuendo's Fajita San Guacamole why her outfit was so plain, Lady Gaga smiled politely and whispered that she has just about run out of ideas for her ridiculously elaborate costumes.
She said that actually her first choice was to show up in a transparent Pamela Anderson Baywatch swimsuit but she was afraid of getting a bunch of goose bumps.
Cher, who is 65, performed a medley of her hit songs including "Gypsys, Tramps, and Thieves," "If I Could Turn Back Time," "Believe" and a song written by Mick Jagger and Priscilla Presley titled "Botox Sux."
After the show Kelly Osbourne was overheard telling Neil Young that she caught a glimpse of Cher's tattoos when she talked to her before the tribute show and (Kelly) confessed that of Cher's seven tattoos she could not make out what any of them were.
Neil asked if it was that dark in her dressing room. Kelly replied that it wasn't dark at all and in a Joan "The Moan" Rivers fashion remarked that the reason she could not make out any of Cher's tattoos was because Cher has gained so much weight that some of her tattoos now resemble the states of Idaho, West Virginia, and Illinois.
