MEMPHIS - Taylor Swift is presently in talks with Lions Door Pictures about the possibility of starring in the film A Fussin' and A Fightin' - The Tonya Tucker Story.
The movie is based on the book Delta Dawn Does Da Darn Delta by noted country music author Appomattox "Bubba" Nailheimer who also wrote the award winning Civil War novel The Day In December of 1863, When The Damn Yankees Rode Into Daytona And Messed It All Up To Hell.
Swift has also been asked to sing all of the songs on the soundtrack except for "San Antonio Stroll" which will be recorded by Texas born Kelly Clarkson.
Grilletta Brewburger of Yippee-Ki-Yay Magazine recently spoke with Taylor at a Captain Cluckity Cluck Cluck Chicken Shack in Memphis.
She asked the young songstress if she had written any songs lately. Taylor replied that she hadn't due to the fact that she has been feeling kinda bad lately.
Miss Brewburger asked what the problem was and Taylor told her that she was kind of embarrassed to tell her but that she wanted to be truthful to her and to her millions of fans.
Taylor remarked that she had taken ill after eating some bad cornbread. When asked where she had eaten it she really did not want to say because she did not want to embarrass the wonderful woman who had baked the cornbread.
[EDITOR'S NOTE: I spoke with Larry King and asked him about Taylor getting sick over some bad cornbread. And right away he told me that the cornbread had been baked by the woman who does Taylor's makeup while she is touring on the road whom Larry identified as Gwendolyn "The Lipstick Lady" Splattfiggle, 43, of Toad Suck, Arkansas.]
