NEW ORLEANS - Kathy Griffin played to a packed house at The Giggle Giggle Comedy Club on Bourbon Street during the club's "Two Hurricanes For The Price of One Night."
Afterwards she signed 73 autographs including one on Shreveport native Bubba Beckingboro's beer belly. She left the comedy club with fellow comedian and Louisiana resident Zydeco Dupree and the two went Bourbon Street bar hopping.
Dupree on top of being a stand up comedian is also a free lance reporter with iRumors.
Zydeco asked Kathy about her recent feud with Kelly Clarkson. Griffin, who is known as "The Red Cougar" said that she found out that Clarkson cannot take a joke.
K-Griff had appeared on The View and told Barbara Walters that if "Kelly Belly" gains anymore weight she is going to start looking like Niecy Nash, except for the fact that Nash is black, can't sing worth a damn, and has the funkiest looking hairdo since the early days of Whoopi Goldberg's career.
[EDITOR'S NOTE: Whoopi did not appear on that particular episode of The View.]
The next day, Kelly, who was having a double pepperoni pizza at a Pizza Gal in Tarzana fired back at Griffin by saying that she had read a story in The Cucamonga Chit Chat Chronicle where Griffin's former "Boy-Toy" boyfriend Levi Johnston had stated that the 50-year-old redhead has one of the strangest looking hooha's (crotch cookies) that he has ever seen.
Zydeco then asked Kathy about the recent remark she made about Lady Gaga while she was having dinner with Melissa Etheridge, Ellen DeGeneres, and Rosie O'Donnell at The La Brea Tar Pits Diner.
Griffin said that she was just wondering if the reason that Lady Gaga had gained so much weight was maybe because she was possibly eating for two.
She also noted that when she saw Gaga last Thursday, she was dressed like a King-Sized Bucket of KFC Chicken and her exposed nipples looked like the biggest Chicken McNuggets she had ever seen including Dolly Parton's, Kim Kardashian's, and Sofia Vergara's.
SIDENOTE: Lady Gaga divulged that she will soon begin filming The Tri-Moon Motion Picture Company production of Yes I Know I Smell Like Cornbread And I'm Damn Proud of It - The Wynonna Judd Story.
