London, England-- Legendary rock band Pink Floyd has announced a world concert tour schedule, planned for 2012. Unfortunately, it won't be this world. Pink Floyd has three concert dates planned for the planet Mars. Tickets are free to anyone, but getting there may be a problem.
Pink Floyd will play three concerts on the Red Planet. The first concert will take place at the base of Olympus Mons, the highest volcano in the Solar System. The group also plans a concert date near the North Pole, hopefully by one of Mars' famous canals. The final concert will take place 12/21/12--right beside the Face on Mars in the Cydonia Region.
The band will play all there albums at each event on Mars. Because the martian air is so thin, they will be using gigantic speakers over one-mile high. Concert goers are urged to bring their own oxygen tanks.
"Should be a great show." said Pink Floyd's David Gilmour. "Parking should be easy, anyway."
The band doesn't know how their fans will get to Mars, and recommends people call NASA for help.
"We are going there by our own transportation." said David. "We have our own Saucerful of Secrets!"
