image for Madonna, Cameron Diaz, Julia Roberts and Lady GaGa adopt Duchess of Alba Look

The recently married Duchess of Alba, Doña María del Rosario Cayetana Fitz-James Stuart y Silva, 85, has created something of a stir among America's actresses and popular music singers.

Her look, the inflated lips, wrinkling skin and wild hair has already been copied by Madonna and now Cameron Diaz seems to be also following the trend.

The Duchess, who married a Spanish civil servant 50 years her junior last week, is the richest woman in Spain.

Madonna, who was photographed last week, bears a striking resemblance to the 85 year old and some say she is copying her look. A spokesman for Madonna refused to comment but did admit that she is trying a new image and any simalirity between her and the Duchess is purely coincidental.

However the fad is not stopping there. Cameron Diaz has already based her puffy lips on the Duchess as has Julia Roberts.

Lady GaGa seems to mimic the Duchesses hair style, as does Barbara Streisand.

Her wrinkly aged skin is becoming such a trend in Hollywood that many actors are also adopting the look. Harrison Ford, Robert Redford, Clint Eastwood are just a few who have decided pay for cosmetic surgery to make them look older.

However it is Madonna who has taken on the look 100 per cent. In a recent survey photographs of the Duchess and Madonna were shown to members of the public, nine out of ten of them could not confirm which wrinkly old woman was who.
