image for Rihanna's new music video shows her to be a domestic goddess

Music Diva Rihanna has showed her more nurturing side in her latest music video.

"The song is called Hard Work," said video producer Larry "The Snip" Styles. "Given the problems we've had filming her previous video I figured that what with the title and everything, she could do the video in my house."

The video shows the pop princess vacuuming, dusting, putting loads of washing on and cleaning laminate floors on her hands and knees.

"Larry insisted that I do all my own stunts," said Rihanna, proudly. "As I did the housework, he wanted lots of shots of me in each of the rooms in house, using his Dyson, scrubbing the bath. It was pretty difficult doing it in a catsuit and five inch heels, but I'm dedicated to my art."

Rihanna has admitted that not all of the cleaning was fun.

"Doing the toilet was a little disgusting," she said with a hint of disgust in her voice. "It was quite tricky as well, what with having to shake my arse and sing at the same time."

Styles was pleased with the final result.

"The video looks brilliant," he said. "Lots of moody atmospheric shots and plenty of Rihanna's fine moves as she pushes the vacuum around."

Styles was even more pleased with Rhianna's domestic goddess side.

"She's also done a really great job on cleaning my house from top to bottom," he said. "Handy really, seeing how my cleaner quit last week."

On hearing the news, Rihanna had just one word for Styles. But it was far too naughty to print here.
