Two and a half men supremo, Chuck Lore, has announced that Charlie Sheen is heading back to the award winning sitcom to reprise his role as jingle writer, Charlie Harper.
Sheen, who's on screen character was killed off, after a public falling out with Lore, will be written back into the show, despite the death of his character.
Sheen's replacement, the annoying and sometimes amateurish Ashton Kutcher will remain on the show as a special guest star.
Details of how Charlie Harper will be resurrected from the dead are sketchy, however one suggestion is that he was the victim of mistaken identity, another he faked his own death.
The ratings of the show, since Sheen's departure have dropped 25% with viewing figures at an all time low, however Lore stated that Sheen's return was nothing to do with ratings or viewing figures.
"The reason we have created such a convoluted and unrealistic plot by bringing back Charlie is nothing to do with viewing figures, and anyone who says that this was ordered by by advertisers is a liar and has been bugging my office!"
