The global economy is in your hands

The global debt crisis shows no sign of abating, with the Eurozone looking shaky and the US struggling under its mountain of debt.

Analyst Connie Mee explained, "The economy is heading for an iceberg, and there's no turning around. It's like the Titanic all over again. Titanic 2, if you will. Was there a sequel to Titanic? No, of course not. But anyway, this iceberg is going to send the whole world to the bottom of the ocean."

Blogger Mito Centsworth had another view. "This is colossal. It's disastrous. It's like King Kong versus Godzilla. And we'd better hope that the economy is King Kong because Godzilla didn't make it out of that fight very well - except in the Japanese version where he allegedly won, but it turns out that is an urban myth. We had better hope the economy is not Mothra, because then we're all screwed."

Financial trader Hal Pimelost spoke to us briefly. He said, "There are a whole bunch of numbers on my screen. I don't know exactly what they mean but if they get much higher, the Earth's core will explode. Seriously!"
