image for Oxford Street prepares for Christmas 2012!
Have you bought your Christmas presents yet?

If you were just thinking about planning your Christmas presents for 2011, you had better be quick. There are only a handful of outlets still stocking appropriate gifts. Most high street shops have moved on to introducing presents for Christmas 2012.

The famous Harrog's shop has stopped selling anything related to 2011, but it is possible to buy "Merry Christmas and a Happy 2013!" cards, 2013 calendars and "Congratulations Pope Gaga!" T-shirts.

If that's not advanced enough for you, Jizzmop Gift Shop have just introduced their "Millenium 3000" range of party products so that shoppers can begin planning their millenium party while there is still plenty of time.

A spokesman for Jizzmop's upmarket rival Spunkrag sneered, "Preparing to party like it's 2999 is so 2010. We're already getting ready for the year 4000."
