image for Mexican drug cartels running out of room to store cash
Stop it with the money already! It's a pain in the ass!

MEXICO CITY, Mexico - A confidential source, Mr. X, with close ties to the Mexican drug cartels here, has revealed that it is becoming difficult to find new places to stuff bills.

"The cartels blame QE2. They say it is resulting in too much money flowing into the cartels. Now where can they store it? All the secret places are full. Pockets are full. Even body cavities are full of cash now", Mr. X related.

"They wish they could give the money back to the countries, like Greece. It seems all this new money is loaned out by banks and then ends up in the cartels' hands. This means all those loans will never be paid back to the banks. It is why every country is going bankrupt. All the banks will end up owning all the countries. But we have the cash."

Mr. X, who lives high in the mountains, had a fire going to keep him warm as he related this to me. The fuel? Stacks of surplus hundred dollar bills.
