LONDON - At a press conference today, Rupert Murdoch had fired Rupert Murdoch.

"I believe that the old fogey is behind the times," Murdoch said. "His attitude is not compatible with the modern. Which is why, with regret I must let Murdoch go."

Murdoch, who will be leaving News Corp, will leave News Corp in the able hands of his boss, Rupert Murdoch.

Outside the hall, the outgoing Murdoch said this: "I think that Murdoch will move News into a brighter age, with his new style of thinking. He will make News bigger than even the BBC."

News Corporation owns news and media outlets in nearly all countries, and also includes FOX News in America, the Sun and News of the World in Britain, and whose spread of outlets rivals that of the BBC (which is technically more value for money).

Other media outlets have responded well.

The Guardian said that News will lay off thier backs. The Spoof.com is also happy at the news, as News Corp have been trying to muscle in on satire.

Maybe the new Murdoch will employ us?
