Ex Viagra Workers turn to Gardening

The UK drug company Pfizer's Research and Development sector in Kent is to close with a loss of thousands of jobs in the Government's job expansion programme in the private sector.

Viagra, the main drug to emerge from the Research has sagged in public popularity, the fizz has gone out of this market like air from a balloon. The upshot of this news is to reduce growth.

Vince Cable has set up a local taskforce to do something about the situation. 'This is a wonderful chance for the Big Society' he said 'we need volunteers to take over from Viagra in stimulating enlargement and development of economic tools.'

Kent County Council is helping ex Pfizer research workers, who discovered the Viagra drug, with contracts to assist the local generation of life in Kent. 'We want these scientists to feel wanted' said the Mayor of Margate 'for too long we have taken their work for granted and now they are becoming downcast we need to give them a prod so they can feel they have achieved something.'

An old man who has dedicated his life to Viagra research declared that 'the time has come to spend more time with my wife and family. This may perk me up a bit.'
