image for Ebay sells itself by mistake
Ebay is now an online dentist site

Profits at online auction giant eBay have fallen by 99% as it continued to struggle amid the weak economy.

It made $1 (£0.43) in the third quarter from $2 in the same period a year earlier as customers showed reluctance to spend.

But the firm's overall sales rose 6% to $10 as more people used it to sell fake goods and pirate software online.

Shares have been put on hold as someone in accounts put the company for sale with no reserve or by it now for $5.

The CEO said this is something we are shocked at as we had a low feedback the buyer had the cheek to ask us for proof of us being a good business model.

This is the second shock at ebay house as earlier this year eBay agreed to sell the Skype business for about $2 and it was listed for three months before a farmer bought it thinking it was horse skype or something in that area.

Ebay is now going to be turned into a dentist website and renamed ebay gum and will relocate to Bradford, West Yorkshire.

Keep watching as we will report in how Microsoft 7 has become Microsoft 8 to confuse people from now it is still as bad as it was when it was windows 98.
