Britain's least favourite airline, English Airways, who are deep in debt, have introduced new charges for their seats. This means punters can only buy standing only tickets on their flights from, say, London to Sydney, for example and pay extra for the pleasure of a seat.
EA are copying a trend set by Brian (rip off) Air by charging their punters for everything, i.e. going to the bog, bog paper, seating, putting the stairway against the plane once landed, bus transfers, sneezing whilst on board, not so fresh air, usage of safety belts, sober pilots, etc.
This latest surcharge is the latest scandal, which EA feels necessary to get out of the 'red'.
Sitting is normally compulsory because of safety, but EA doesn't care, if you want a seat, then you jolly well f*****g pay extra for it!
Thousands of customers are fleeing to other airlines, they feel that EA, this time, should really 'fly away'!
The beneficiaries of this latest scandal are Iran Airways, otherwise ignored by Europeans they have been inundated with bookings.
Iran Airways are offering all-in packages including seats, carpets for praying, complimentary burqas for female passengers, free copies of the Koran and an absolute guarantee against terrorist attacks because Bin Laden is co-owner!
