LAFAYETTE, LOUISIANA - Well, it's official, Google has jumped into the cell phone business arena. The new Google Phone (The T-Mobile G1 Android Powered Phone) will sell for $179.
A senior spokesman for Google, Giovanni 'The Google Dude' Drypool held a press conference at The Andrew & Stonewall Jackson Hotel in downtown Winnipeg, Canada. Drypool remarked, "We at Google are extremely proud of our company. We have come a long way, but we are only now starting to scratch the surface. In fact as we speak, we have our Google Braintrust Team, which is comprised of 13 individuals with an average IQ of 197, working feverishly on future Google products such as Google Beer, Google McNuggets, Google Bras, GoogleBerry Breakfast Cereal, Google Pantiliners, Eau De Google Cologne, and Google Condoms."
Drypool went on to say that Google's popularity has shot up so high that just within the past three days, he has received hundreds of E-Mails informing him that 17 different couples throughout America, England, Finland, and Greenland have named their new babies 'Google.' Drypool added that he might be wrong but that he has never heard of anyone naming their babies Yahoo, Microsoft, Wikipedia, or Culi.
(EDITOR'S NOTE: I would like to state for the record that Mr. Drypool is in fact wrong. I personally know of a young couple, Kipp and Courtney Kershaw of Tulsa, Oklahoma who recently named their twin baby girls Wikipedia Ann and Ann Wikipedia Kershaw).
