Bush-Cheney version of Russian Roulette

There are many factors contributing to the skyrocketing price of oil. Demand has far outstripped supply and the weak dollar is certainly not helping. But, economists are realizing that a new formula can be used to predict a portion of the price rise.

Nobel Prize winning economist, IM Beancounter has discovered that every time a member of the Bush administration mentions Iran, no matter what they say, the price of oil goes up 1%. If the comment involves a negative, 2% and if a threat is included then the price of oil goes up a full 3%!

Based on these figures, Dick"I'll shoot you in the face" Cheney has single handedly raised oil prices by the millions. Condoleezza Rice is a close second and W himself is a disappointing third. One commentator defended the President's third place finish by explaining that if Bush knew the diffwerence between Iraq and Iran, he would have done much better in the contest.

Beancounter reminded the American people:" So the next time you hear a Bushite intimate trouble with Iran just picture those flying numerals at the gas pump. That is what happens when you send Oilcan Harry and Harriet to Washington!"
