OAK BROOK, Illinois - The home office of the McDonut's Fast Food Franchise has just received a report from one of its restaurants.
According to spokesperson Nancy Zabeletta, located west of the Mississippi River has reportedly fired one of its employees because the worker forgot to ask a customer if he wanted fries with his order.
Ms. Zabeletta stated that although it is part of the corporate training process for all employees to ask "Do you want fries with that?" it is not a basis for someone to get terminated.
She explained that the company will certainly be investigating the extremely rare incident and get to the bottom of this unfortunate matter.
Ms. Zabeletta was asked by a member of the news media where exactly the restaurant in question was located.
She smiled and simply said that it is one of their Arizona establishments.
She did admit that it is the same outlet that last year had trouble regarding drinking straws that were defective and Big Mac buns that were missing half of their sesame seeds.
[EDITOR'S NOTE: I Googled the defective drinking straw and sesame seeds incident and learned that the Arizona restaurant is located in Flagstaff, Arizona.]
