BRONX, New York - The owner of one of the most popular ice cream parlors in New York City says that he may have to end up closing down.
Gino Brockatoosi owner of The Damma Good Ice Cream Parlor told reporters that the record-breaking winter snowstorms have just about put an end to his ice cream business.
He pointed out that when the weather is cold hardly anyone wants to come in for an ice cream cone, an ice cream cup, or even for an ice cream hot dog, which he personally invented back in October of 1997.
Brockatoosi commented that during the summer months he averages 485 customers on a daily basis, but this past week, he has only had 2 customers; one was an Eskimo-American tourist from Alaska and the other one was a homeless man who wandered in just to get out of the freaking cold weather.
Even Jennifer Lopez who is one of his best customers and would drop by at least three times a week has stopped coming in.
SIDENOTE: Brookatoosi stated that he has been giving all of the unsold ice cream to The Bronx Shelter For Pregnant Homeless Women.
