A view of a NASA space shuttle's powerful engines.

BENTONVILLE, Arkansas - The world's largest retail store has just contacted the National Aeronautics Space Administration about a business proposition.

Walmart spokesperson Kimberley Silverlace stated that the Walton family has decided that they would like to sponsor NASA's next space shuttle.

The retail franchise giant has said that they feel that there is no better way to show their true American patriotism than by paying for the space shuttle and having the Walmart name and logo placed on the American space ship.

NASA Assistant Spokesperson Skipper Flashfiddle remarked that NASA truly appreciates the wonderful gesture by the Walton family and they are in the process of drawing up the needed legal paperwork.

In Other News. Missouri has just announced that it is outlawing French croissants due to the recent French Croissant Ingredient Scandal.
