SAN DIEGO, California - The West Coast based fast food franchise Jack-In-The-Box is on the cusp of making one of the biggest changes in the chain's 62 year history.
According to a corporate representative the company is currently planning on dropping the logo box.
Originally Jack-In-The-Box used a child's Jack-in-the-box toy as their corporate logo but as one high-ranking executive noted, "There comes a time when everyone has to put their toys away and move on."
The company is thinking about changing the restaurant's name from Jack-In-The-Box to simply Jack's Burgers.
The little ping pong ball cone-headed character will be replaced by a well-known celebrity.
Presently two celebrities who are being considered are LeAnn Rimes and Ryan Seacrest since they are both on the skinny side.
SIDENOTE: Tittle Tattle Tonight reported that Kirstie Alley called up the corporate advertising department and said she would love to be the new spokesperson for Jack's Burgers. She was told that she is not exactly the type of person that the company is looking for due to the fact that she's on the rather large size.
