LONDON - Brompton Boxgrove, a reporter with Britain's Tickety Boo News, has just reported that merry olde England has just opened up a brand new fast food establishment.
Boxgrove reports that The Giddy Up Diner has just opened for business in the Pimlico section of London.
The manager of the new diner, Wilfred Backgammon, 47, told the assembled news media members, which included reporters from Ta Ta For Now News and The Bee's Knees News Agency, that the new eating establishment promises that their food will have no traces of horse DNA whatsoever.
He went on to say that their signature burger known as The Triggerburger will be 100 percent beef and the name is merely used in a satirical manner.
Mr. Backgammon did express the fact that they are taking some liberties with their corporate slogan which is: Eat a Giddy Up Burger and you'll run like the wind."
The Caloric Castle Corporation which owns The Giddy Up Restaurant wants to assure the fast food eating public that they will not be dealing with the Silver Hooves Meat Supply Company.
In the past, Silver Hooves provided most of the horse DNA tainted meat to the British restaurants, including Burger King, Burger Duchess, and Jester Burger.
But Giddy Up Restaurant executives have made it crystal clear that they will deal strictly with The Moo Moo Meat Masters of Manchester Food Service Company.
