Philadelphia, PA-- When little Eddie Spaghetti lost his front tooth on Monday, he didn't expect it to make the national news. The six-year old put his left incisor under his pillow last night for the Tooth Fairy. He woke up this morning to find that the Tooth Fairy had left him a shiny new platinum coin worth $1,000,000,000,000.00.
Eddie Spaghetti's parents didn't know what to do with the $1 trillion coin. At first they thought it was a joke. Then they did the patriotic thing and sent the money to Washington DC to help pay down the $16 trillion debt.
"It can't be used. It's not real money." frowned Federal Reserve Chairperson Ben Bernanke. "Only the Fed can create money." he fumed.
"Beg to differ." said the Tooth Fairy. "If some bearded morons on Wall Street can print billions of dollars out of thin air, then so can I! And I've been doing it much longer than the Fed!" said the nice fairy.
Wall Street seemed to like the Tooth Fairy more than the Fed chairman. Stocks surged over 10,0000 points in just one day.
"I have lots more $1 trillion platinum coins to deliver!" laughed the Tooth Fairy. "Why should Wall Street bankers have all the fun!"
