Washington DC - Lobbyists around the capital are pushing the Congress to enact new legislation to curb what they see is an attitude of blatant entitlement.
According to our source, Representative Crass Raftgay, banks want to put an end to entitlements. Crass summarized the banks position.
"There seems to be an attitude that just because a person has been saving his money for fifty years in a bank that he has the right to quit his job and stop making deposits. Even worse, some people think they can just live off money they remove from accounts.
"We have seen an attitude in the elderly that they display. It is as if they feel they are ENTITLED to the funds. Don't they realize that if everyone took their money out of the bank, there would not be enough to go around?
"We are pushing for new legislation to end entitlements. Living off society has got to stop! The next thing you know they will want to bring back Social Security!"
