Profile: Morse was an English Literature major in college, with a brief stint as a newspaper reporter in 1968-1969 after 3 years with the US Army (1965-1968) including a tour in SVN as a Military Intelligence Investigator.

An observer of things outlandish and senseless, as Dave Barry would say,"you can't make this up", he enjoys spoofing the ego laden politicians of today, even though at times its hard to top their own foibles.

Writing into the void Morse was overheard saying,"who cares if no one hears a rotten tree fall in the forest, the important thing is that you cut the F******down! "

Morse spent over 35 years as a residential contractor in the colonies before retiring to South Carolina with "The Striking Viking" and their Golden Retreiver, "Bear" who keeps and publishes his own journal entitled "View From Away". Bear also performs his duties as a Certified Therapy Dog bringing cheer to nursing homes whilst making his own folks proud!

Meanwhile "The Striking Viking" continues her love affair with Cunard and the QM2 forcing Morse to keep writing for The Spoof to pay for the trips.

Remember, keep your thumb out of the Marmite and tape your ears to your head so people don't think you're a Royalist!
